Ritmi oscuri, riff cattivi, testi violenti e copertine tetre… questi sono gli Slayer! Uno dei gruppi thrash metal più famosi e ascoltati in circolazione… Questa canzone rappresenta un po’ quello che mi sta passando per la testa in questo momento. Sanno far sfogare come pochi gruppi, mi scatenano un headbanging solitario quasi spontaneo! Tom Araya, Dave Lombardo, Kerry King e Jeff Hannemann formano una line-up che rende unica nel suo genere la musica degli Slayer! Ascoltate il nuovo album (a quanto pare sarà l’ultimo :() World Painted Blood… è bellissimo! Per adesso godetevi il video di Bloodline…

Questa settimana torno al genere che più mi si addice… i Children of Bodom sono una scarica di adrenalina, sfogo puro! Assoli paurosi ad una velocità supersonica, testi fantastici… Alexi Laiho è uno dei miei chitarristi preferiti! Questa canzone, tratta dall’album “Are You Dead Yet?” è favolosa! Suonata a ritmi altissimi, tecnica mostruosa; ascoltarla in camera da soli, ad un volume da Festival, è una delle cose che mi sanno far sfogare di più!!!

Ripercorrendo negli ultimi giorni la storia dell’ heavy metal mi sono imbattuto in questa splendida canzone dei Black Sabbath con Ronnie James Dio alla voce… che dire, i Black Sabbath sono l’heavy metal, lo hanno praticamente inventato loro… e questa canzone è la prova delle grandissime doti vocali di Ronnie James Dio… Godetevi questa fantastica canzone!

Lo so, è troppo sdolcinata per essere una canzone di mio gradimento… Ma gli Skid Row mi piaccono parecchio. Questa canzone nell’ultima settimana ha accompagnato i miei pensieri, mi è tornata più volte in testa, non riuscendo più a togliermela! A chi piacerà, godetevi il video!

L’ispirazione per il titolo di questo Blog mi è venuta da questo magnifico album dei Death, che rispecchia un pò la mia personalità… Negli ultimi anni ho fatto della perseveranza la mia ragione di vita, ed è un approccio che sino ad ora mi ha fatto rialzare da situazioni difficili, mi ha fatto risolvere problemi che pensavo irrisolvibili.
